How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be a Weight Loss Coach?
Before an eventual breakthrough that set me on my current path, I struggled for a decade with a very painful relationship with food and my body. I ate compulsively and binged, or deprived myself of food altogether. My unhealthy eating patterns and food choices interfered with my digestion and my metabolism, which deteriorated hand in hand as the years went by. For me the outcome was twenty pounds of weight gain, but also constipation, poor skin, lethargy, mood swings, and a sense of sluggishness throughout my entire system.
Possibly even more painful than the over-eating was the bad body image and low self-esteem I endured. This consisted of an endless cycle of negative self-talk that interfered with my ability to be present with the world. I felt that my body wasn’t good enough, could never be good enough, and that therefore I wasn’t good enough and in essence was fundamentally flawed.
A defining moment in my life happened seven years ago.
It was a time when I was still binging on peanut butter by the jarful and eating chocolate chip cookies in family size quantities!
Just when I thought I had hit rock bottom and it could not get worse, I heard my body telling me: “listen to me!” For the first time, I began to tune in and hear my body’s voice. As I learned to translate what was really at the foundation of the craving for cookies, I adapted my food and lifestyle choices accordingly, and was able to at last satisfy my previously insatiable hunger, at its root.
I was so happy about this, that weight loss became less and less my focus, and instead I focused on inhabiting my body gracefully, naturally, and without struggle.
It was a delightful surprise when I looked in the mirror and found my body becoming lighter and firmer!
I began dressing differently, I began relating with men differently, and I began interacting with the world differently. My commitment to my health became stronger and stronger because after all these years of struggle there was NO WAY I wanted to keep any of this a secret!
As my nutrition and health coaching practice began to grow and thrive, I kept attracting women into my practice who didn’t want “yet another food plan to follow.” They wanted to work on coming to peace with food and awakening the wisdom in the their bodies, causing a slimmer body to be a natural side-effect.
I have since made a commitment to dedicate my life to helping other women get the body of their dreams in healthy, lasting, pleasurable, natural ways through my workshops, products, teleclasses, webinars, online community and private coaching programs.
I have come a long way from the years when I hated my body and distrusted my instincts. Now, enjoying food without reservation or fear, and without restriction or control, without having to worry about my weight, is built in to my existence.

Who are your clients exactly?
I work with women just like you – busy, smart, working women, entrepreneurs, corporate success stories, mothers, business owners, performers, etc. who are really good at what they do, yet struggle with weight and body image.
How are you different from other “weight loss coaches?”
My philosophy at its foundation makes the distinction between the punishing strategies for weight loss and the feminine strategies for weight loss.
The “punishing strategies” for weight loss are generally the ones we hear all about in magazines, diet books, and pop culture at large. They include: food restriction, a.k.a, dieting, calorie counting, diet pills, punishing exercise, reliance on willpower, and surgery. For 95% of women, these strategies do not provide the desired result of long-term weight loss. Instead, these methods frequently lead to a short-term drop in weight, only to be followed by a rebound, where the original weight, and often much more, is put back on.
My approach differs in that I focus on what I call the “pleasurable strategies” for weight loss. They include learning to listen to your body and enjoy it, learning how to relax, cultivating your sensuality, seeking the “soul lesson” out of the experience, and finding pleasure in food and life. This approach fosters deep change that permeates food choices, exercise preferences, and many other lifestyle factors, affecting your metabolism and leading to natural, effortless weight loss without even trying.
I ONLY work with women who are at the end of their tether with dieting and deprivation techniques. In other words, I don’t consult with people who are looking for a disciplinarian to help them impose an oppressive, restrictive food regime upon themselves.
What that means to you is that I am very focused on anything and everything that works for the modern woman to lose weight without selling her soul. What you get with me is no-nonsense, undiluted expertise on what works for busy women with a lot on their plates. And of course, a generous dose of fun, compassion, humor and encouragement is part of my recipe for success.
What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?
The Pleasurable Weight Loss approach, be it through workshops, webinars, products or private coaching sessions, was created for women who are excited about losing weight, without handing their life over to the food police. This means not living your life in disgust with your body, in terror of food, or lamenting weight loss as a burden and uphill battle. My approach was created for you to put new strategies into place within a few months, which will eventually lead you to losing the weight you need to shed, and stopping the yo-yo “weight loss weight gain” cycle for good.
Being a high achieving go-getter myself, I’m known to work best with other high achieving go-getters who are super-ready to get going and want to know exactly what steps to take to get freedom from the diet game and the body of their dreams.
Consider what you’ll do with me to be an action learning course. You will have my full support to take consistent action, in a pleasurable and enjoyable manner, with a very different mindset, while you achieve this incredibly exciting goal: sustainable weight loss, without denial or deprivation.
For what type of person is this program NOT going to work?
Please know I’m very selective in whom I work with. I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)

1. Embrace The Wisdom of Your Female Animal
Instead of looking outside of yourself to follow yet another diet, learn how to listen within to the voice of your female body, who like all animals in nature, already knows how to eat and move to be in balance … if only you would show her respect.
2. The Sensual Science of Pleasurable Weight Loss
Science has shown that for most people, stress causes weight gain. Fortunately, the reverse is also true: pleasure, relaxation and sensuality create the perfect metabolic conditions that stimulate weight loss. Instead of controlling, restricting and pushing yourself, learn to awaken your senses to pleasure, so that you can feel more, savor more, and enjoy the results of the pleasurable approach to weight loss.
3. Creating Your Ideal Ecology for Lasting Weight Loss
Animals in nature thrive in the right environment, and similarly so will your body when you create the ideal conditions in both your physical environment and the inner world of your thoughts and beliefs.

Discovering ways of moving that make your female body feel good, not only after, but during the workout, is the secret of pleasurable fitness.

How quickly can I expect results?
Obviously, this depends on how long you’ve been neglecting your body and how much attention you pay to the recommendations I give you. That said, virtually all clients see results within the first couple of months in the form of a new relationship with food, fewer cravings, better body image, and at least 1 size lower.
Will I recover the investment I put into this coaching program?
Yes!
